Setting Scan Speed

Scan Speed is the setting that determines the maximum number of requests the scanner will make of your site per second for any scan. WhiteHat Dynamic is production safe in part because our scanner is designed to send a request and wait for the response before sending another request, and because we allow you to determine the maximum number of requests that can be made per second (between 1 and 8). The default is 4 requests per second.

You can set the maximum scan speed from the Scan tab of the Site page. Click the Scan Schedule link to display a dialog where you can set the scan Schedule and the Maximum Scan Speed.

Use the dropdown list to select your preferred speed, and click on Save Changes.
