Scheduling an Application Scan

From the Assets tab, select the Application(s) you wish to schedule. In the "Scan" sub-tab, click on "Scan Schedule."

You can choose to have no scheduled scans ("Never Scan"), to scan immediately ("Scan Now"), or to scan daily beginning at a particular time or weekly beginning at a particular day or time. A maximum of five (5) scans may be queued at one point in time for any given application.

Be certain that the time zone is correct, or correct it using the drop down for time zone; the time zone setting will determine what time zone is used to interpret your start time for your scan. (e.g., if you are in Los Angeles, and you specify that the scan should be weeknights between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., but the time zone is set for Americas/New York, your assessments will begin weeknights at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, 8:00 p.m. Eastern, which is contrary to your intention and expectation.) To edit the time zone, click on the dropdown and select the appropriate time zone from the list.

When you are done, click on "Add" to add the schedule.
