Downloading and Installation

Download from the Customer Portal
To download the plugin from the WhiteHat Customer Support Portal, perform the following steps:

Follow this link to the WhiteHat Customer Portal.

Log in to your WhiteHat Customer Support Portal account.

Type ‘Xcode Plugin’ into the search field provided.

Click on the WHS Xcode Plugin Installer and Guide in the search results.

Click Link to Document. This opens a new tab with the download link for the plugin and usage documentation.

Click Download to begin the download.

If your browser asks if you want to allow downloads from this website, click Allow. The downloaded-content folder will automatically be downloaded to your downloads folder or your designated location. This folder contains the .pkg plugin installer file along with the installation and usage .pdf file.

The downloaded-content file is located in your downloads folder, as displayed below.
Now that the plugin is downloaded, you will need to install it (Installation) and then configure it (Configure an Existing Project for the WhiteHat Jenkins Plugin).
Installation
The Xcode plugin for WhiteHat Sentinel will allow you to review the Sentinel vulnerability data directly from Xcode.
Currently the following versions are supported: 6.9, 9.x, and 10.2.1. |

Double click on the WhiteHat Xcode Plug-in Installer.pkg installer package to run it.

Click Continue on the Introduction screen.

On the License screen, click the link to read the license agreement.

Optionally, select Print to print a copy of the license agreement.

Optionally, select Save to save a copy of the license agreement.

Click Continue on the Software Licence Agreement page.

Click Agree to accept the terms of the software license agreement.

Select the destination where you want to install the software and then click Continue.

Click Install on the Installation Type page.

Type your username and password into the text field to allow the installer to install new software.

Select Install Software to begin the installation.

When the installation is complete, a success message is displayed. Click Close to close the installer window.

Optionally, select Move to Trash/Bin to move the installer to your trash.

After you launch the plugin package, you may receive a message that it can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. If this occurs you must update your privacy settings to allow the package to be installed. To do this perform the following steps:

Open System Preferences and then click Security & Privacy.

Click the General tab and a message is displayed that the package could not be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Click Open Anyway. A dialog box is displayed asking if you are sure you want to open it.

Click Open and you will see the package installer.

Click Continue to begin installing the package.
