Configure the Global Settings

To configure the Global Settings, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Jenkins dashboard and select Manage Jenkins.

  2. Select Configure System.

  3. Under WhiteHat Sentinel Global Settings, type in your API key to be used globally for the project.

    A valid API key must be entered before the plugin can be used. To find out how to generate an API key on Sentinel see Generating an API key.

  4. Click Test Connection to ensure that the credentials authenticate successfully.

  5. When you have completed the Global Configuration process, click Save.

The Jenkins plugin supports your proxy settings in Jenkins. To adjust your proxy settings, go to Manage Jenkins → Manage Plugins and choose Advanced.
