Sentinel Plugin for Jenkins
The following instructions for downloading and installing the Sentinel Plugin for Jenkins, apply to both Mac and Windows operating systems |
Downloading the Plugin
The plugin is available from: WhiteHat Customer Portal
Download from the Customer Portal
To download the plugin from the WhiteHat Customer Support Portal, perform the following steps:

Follow this link to the WhiteHat Customer Portal.

Log in to your WhiteHat Customer Support Portal account.

Type ‘Jenkins Plugin’ into the search field provided.

Click on the WHS Jenkins Plugin and Integration Guide in the search results.

Click Link to Document. This opens a new tab with the download link for the plugin and usage documentation.

Click Download to begin the download.

If your browser asks if you want to allow downloads from this website, click Allow. The downloaded-content folder will automatically be downloaded to your downloads folder or your designated location. This folder contains the .hpi plugin file along with the installation and usage .pdf file.

The downloaded-content file is located in your downloads folder, as displayed below.
Now that the plugin is downloaded, you will need to install it (Installation Process) and then configure it (Configure an Existing Project for the WhiteHat Jenkins Plugin).
Installation Process
The Jenkins plugin for WhiteHat Sentinel enables you to add applications and/or codebases and initiate a Sentinel scan directly from your Jenkins project.
To install the WhiteHat Jenkins Plugin, follow these steps:

Navigate to Jenkins and select Manage Jenkins.

Click on Manage Plugins.

Select the Advanced tab.

Under the Upload Plugin heading select Choose file to upload the plugin.

Navigate to your downloads folder and select the WhiteHatJenkinsPlugin.hpi file.

Select Upload to upload the WhiteHat Jenkins Plugin.

If the Plugin has successfully been installed, Success is displayed beside WhiteHat_Sentinel_Jenkins_Plugin in the update centre.

If necessary, restart Jenkins.
Once the WhiteHat Sentinel Jenkins has been installed, continue to Using Jenkins.
