Sentinel Plugin for IntelliJ
Download the Plugin
The IntelliJ plugin for WhiteHat Sentinel will allow you to review the Sentinel vulnerability data directly from IntelliJ. You can download the plugin and these installation instructions from the WhiteHat Security Customer portal under the Documentation and Tools tab; scroll down to the subsection on "Sentinel Integrations and Plugins" and select the appropriate IDE Plugin Package.
Downloading the Plugin

To download the plugin from the WhiteHat Customer Support Portal, perform the following steps:

Follow this link to the WhiteHat Customer Portal.

Log in to your WhiteHat Customer Support Portal account.

Type ‘IntelliJ’ into the search field provided.

Click on the WHS IntelliJ IDE Plugin and Documentation in the search results.

Click Download to begin the download.

If your browser asks if you want to allow downloads from this website, click Allow. The downloaded-content folder will automatically be downloaded to your downloads folder or your designated location. This folder contains the .zip plugin file along with the installation and usage .pdf file.

The downloaded-content file is located in your downloads folder, as displayed below.
Now that the plugin is downloaded, you will need to install it (Installation Process) and then configure it (Configure an Existing Project for the WhiteHat Jenkins Plugin).
Installation Process
To install the WhiteHat Sentinel IntelliJ plugin, follow these steps:

Open IntelliJ and select Plugins.

Click the Gear icon.

Select Install Plugin from Disk from the dropdown.

Select the IntelliJIDEPIugin.zip file.

Click Open.
-
Click Accept on the third party plugin notice.

If the WhiteHat Sentinel IntelliJ plugin has successfully been installed it is displayed under installed in the Plugin tab, as shown below.

If necessary, restart IntelliJ.
Once the WhiteHat Sentinel IntelliJ plugin has been installed, continue to Using the IntelliJ Plugin.
